Patricia Partelow is part of EY’s Payments practice where she works with clients to help them navigate the changing payments landscape by helping them to assess the market, develop strategies and implement processes and platforms to deliver growth.  

She has helped banks and FinTechs to develop their payment strategy, identify their target state design, and develop and deliver multi-year capabilities roadmap. Pati helps clients to optimize the use of different payment types including credit/debit/prepaid cards, ACH, Wires, and RTP and implement the supporting processes and systems to grow revenue, improve customer satisfaction and realize process efficiencies. 

Before joining EY, Pati was a Lead Account Partner in IBM’s iX Digital Strategy & Experience practice.  In this role, Pati partnered with clients to help them grow their businesses by defining and delivering their digital strategy, harnessing the power of IBM's assets and capabilities in payments and commerce platforms, user experience, cognitive computing, mobile, social media, Internet of Things, advanced analytics, and blockchain technologies.  Pati is a design thinking facilitator.

Previously, as the Head of American Express Global Business Consulting Services, Pati leveraged American Express’ unique B2B client portfolio of deep data assets, products, tools & benchmarking capabilities to help clients optimize their Procure to Pay and Travel spend.

Pati joined American Express in 2008 to transform their global Emerging Payments business.  She led the strategy, development and deployment of digital capabilities and products globally across Amex’s Issuing and Merchant Networks. She supported the creation of Amex’s Enterprise Growth business which launched Serve and Bluebird prepaid products.

Pati led the effort to create Amex’s ecommerce and mobile capabilities, contactless in transit, merchant acceptance solutions and membership in key industry standards bodies.  She was responsible for the merchant product P&L, ensuring Amex products were well positioned in the marketplace. 

Before American Express, Pati held numerous positions at PepsiCo where she led business transformation initiatives, redefining business strategy and processes to deliver double digit Business Unit growth.  Most notably, Pati was Head of Information Technology for Pepsi’s Foodservice Division.
